The Foschini Retail Group (TFG) is looking to hire a Sustainability Graduate to join the TFG Infotec team to be involved in the implementation of the Group’s shared value strategy within a corporate environment.

Key Performance Areas

• Assist in the achievement of the tactical plans – sustainability strategy awareness , local supply chain development and energy consumption reporting
• Vendor management (e.g. BEE and UNGC documentation, ensuring adherence to the group policy)
• In conjunction with TFG Infotec, assist in the development of a sustainability reporting solution (data gathering, collation and reporting of non-financial data)
• Key meetings – compile the meeting packs and presentations, and assist in the administration of the meetings
• Key annual reports – assist in the compilation of all internal and external reports, and website updates
• Assist in the implementation of the Group’s transformation strategy
• Oversee the obtainment of valid service providers/suppliers B-BBEE rating certificates, in conjunction with TFG Procurement teams
• Assist with the quarterly tracking of the groups B-BBEE scorecard
• Assist with research on Sustainability and Transformation within areas the Group operates in outside of South Africa

Requirements

• A Masters Degree in Finance or Business Science
• Excellent customer service orientation
• High level of numerical skills
• Exceptional communication skills (written and verbal)
• An eye for detail and exceptional organisational skills
• Computer Literacy (MS Word and MS Excel and MS Project)
• Sound accuracy and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently, as well as within a team
• To confidently influence and persuade at all levels
• Resilience and emotional maturity to work through a highly structured and pressurised development programme
• To be self-motivated, and take responsibility for your own development
• Enjoys a project driven, goal oriented environment
